The Western Front Association (WFA) was formed in 1980 to maintain interest in the First World War (1914-1918). The WFA works to perpetuate the memory, courage and comradeship of all, from all sides, on all Fronts: on land, at sea, in the air and on the Home Front.
The Lincoln & North Lincolnshire Branch was formed by Mick McDonald in 2009 and usually attracts more than 50 members and other attendees to each meeting.
We are happy for you to contact us with questions and would be grateful for any articles you might like to contribute for publication on this site. You can have your say about projects you would like the Lincoln Branch to get involved in or even ask other members for help with your own research.
You can also connect with our Branch through our social media channels. Many people find using social media quicker and easier to keep the conversation going rather than sending emails back and forth so we maintain a presence there too.
We post regular updates on your favourite social media websites to let you know about meetings, branch news or any other Great War-related events happening in Lincolnshire.
